Vision and Sports Summer School

Vision and Sports is a special kind of summer school. In addition to a broad-range of lectures on state-of-the-art Computer Vision and Machine Learning techniques, it offers lots of fun with a variety of attractive sports. This offers plenty of opportunity for personal contact between students and teachers.
The Vision and Sports Summer School covers a broad range of subjects, reflecting the diversity of Computer Vision. Each lecture will cover both basic aspects and state-of-the-art research. Every day there are two Computer Vision classes and one sports session. The classes include both lectures and practical exercises.
The school is open to about 60 participants, and is targeted mainly to young researchers (Master and PhD students in particular). Following the summer school, on Saturday there will be a workshop where the teachers will present their latest research work. Students can attend this exciting workshop for free and have the opportunity to see some cutting edge computer vision research.
